The REST API

The API every orchestrator serves, on the address of its -listen flag. The console is one of its clients, with no other way in.

The description below is orchestrator-api.v1.openapi.yaml, as the repository holds it. A test fails when the API serves a route the description lacks, or the description lists one the API does not serve, and when one of its schemas differs from the Go type the API encodes. A controller type’s manifest is described in controller-type.v1.json.
